Supporting young people

Our mission is to provide help, support and advice to children in care and young care leavers so that they can take control of their lives and unleash their potential. Each one has dreams, hopes and unique abilities.  We help them to move towards becoming the person they want to be - towards a life well lived.

Across our programmes of work at Become we aim to build young people's emotional wellbeing and resilience to help them live powerfully and purposefully.

Our Care Advice Line is a confidential service that children in care and young care leavers can call for free, offering down to earth information and advice. Our Ask our Experts programme supports care-experienced young people to devise and deliver training for professionals who come into contact with children in care and care leavers. In spring 2017 our new life coaching programme for care-experienced young people aged 16-25, currently in development, will launch in London. "The emotional support, financial support and encouragement from Become meant so much and helped me through. The most important thing was for me not to give up and I couldn’t have done that without encouragement."
