What do you do at Become?

I help our supporters and fundraisers to make the biggest impact they can for young people in care and young care leavers. I feel very lucky to get to speak to so many amazing people who care deeply for what we do and am always excited to welcome new supporters to our community. Without them, Become could not deliver our vital services and we are so grateful for their support.

Can you say a bit about your past experience and qualifications?

My work in the charity sector began at university, where I focused on advocacy work for women on campus. After graduating from Leiden University, I went on to work in fundraising and communications for a small charity in the international sector that fought for children’s rights.

What do you like about working at Become?

Become is a small charity with a big impact that stays true to its principles. We are a small but strong team who strive to promote wellbeing internally as well as externally and lead the sector through our commitment to compassion.

What drives you?

The belief that with enough strength and determination, there is always hope for change.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?

Reading, spotting dogs in my local park and wandering around the markets of south east London.
