What do you do at Become? My role at Become involves raising awareness of the charity through digital communications. I also work with the Support and Engagement team, running reflective practice sessions and workshops on mental health and psychology.
Can you say a bit about your experience and qualifications? I studied marketing at university before working for a global ad agency for a few years in London. Following that I completed a second degree in psychology and then retrained as a psychotherapist whilst continuing to work part-time in communications for various non-profits and charities. When I'm not at Become I work as a therapist in private practice and I'm currently completing a doctorate in Counselling Psychology.
What do you like about working at Become? It’s a small charity punching above its weight due to the passionate and committed people that work here.
What drives you? Kindness, availability for others, equality.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working? I love playing tennis, playing records, and travelling to hot and sunny places whenever I can.
